Appointed as Special Representative for Entrepreneurship and Development, supporting Saint Kitts and Nevis in attracting investment and advancing international economic relationships.

Played a role in facilitating access to COVID-19 vaccines and humanitarian support across the Caribbean, including coordinating the logistics and transportation of 100,000 AstraZeneca vaccines from India to Barbados.

Named in Barbados' Independence Day Honours List in recognition of his contribution to humanitarian efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Received the Honorary Order of the Republic of Barbados in recognition of his service and contribution, including his role in facilitating COVID-19 vaccine access.

Recognised during India–CARICOM engagements for his contribution to facilitating COVID-19 vaccine delivery and humanitarian support across the Caribbean.

The opening brought together India’s Minister of External Affairs Dr S. Jaishankar, Saint Kitts and Nevis Foreign Minister Dr Denzil Douglas, members of the diplomatic corps and invited guests. It marked a new phase of direct, practical engagement between both countries.

The Federation established its first permanent diplomatic presence in India through the High Commission in New Delhi.

Gurdip Dev Bath presented his credentials in the Ashok Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan, formally beginning his service as High Commissioner to India.
7 April 2026
The New Delhi opening brought together the foreign ministers of India and Saint Kitts and Nevis, members of the diplomatic corps and invited guests.
